ISLAMABAD: Senator Kamran Murtaza has confirmed that leader of the two major opposition parties- Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazal (JUI-F)- will meet today to discuss formation of the grand opposition alliance.
Earlier this week, PTI senior leader and former speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser said that a delegation of the party soon will meet Jamiat Ulema Islam to discuss the anti-government movement. PTI wanted to start an anti-government movement after Eid.
Talking to media outside the Parliament, Senator Kamran Murtaza said that the leaders of both parties will sit together today. He said that JUI-F will convey its concerns.
The JUI-F has some concerns and wanted to address them before entering into alliance.
Kamran Murtaza said that leaders will meet today at 10pm.
