PESHAWAR: Peshawar High Court on Wednesday extended protective bail of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Khadija Shah.
A divisional bench of the PHC comprising Justice Sahibzada Asadullah Khan and Justice Aurangzeb heard the Khadija Shah’s protective bail plea.
The court asked whether the interior ministry has submitted its report regarding cases registered against Khadija Shah.
The Assistant Attorney General informed the court that the report from the Interior Ministry has not come yet, however, the FIA is carrying inquiry against Khadija Shah in Lahore.
Responding on behalf of NAB, Prosecutor Sartaj Khan told the court that he has also not received a response from the anti-corruption watchdog.
The court issued orders not to arrest Khadija Shah in any registered case.
The court sought a report from the Interior Ministry and NAB and granted her protective bail till April 15.
