Google Wallet launches in Pakistan

Google Wallet Now Available in Pakistan: A New Era of Digital Payments

Google has launched its digital payment app, Google Wallet, in Pakistan. This app allows users to make online, in-app, and contactless payments using their mobile devices.

It also lets users store digital items like loyalty cards and boarding passes securely.

Google Wallet uses NFC (Near Field Communication) technology for contactless payments.

This means users can simply tap their phones to pay at stores, shop online, or access travel passes easily.

Farhan Qureshi, Google Pakistan’s Country Director, said that digital payments are growing fast in Pakistan.

Google Wallet will provide a safe and easy way for people to pay, shop, and travel. He also added that this launch will help promote financial inclusion and create economic opportunities in the country.

Users of banks like Bank Alfalah, HBL, Meezan Bank, UBL, and others can add their cards to Google Wallet and make payments using Android phones or Wear OS devices wherever contactless payments are accepted.
