D.I.KHAN: A violent dispute between brothers turned deadly in the Shero Kahna area of Dera Ismail Khan DI-KHAN, leaving four members of the same family dead and two children injured, police reported Wednesday.
The incident occurred following an argument that escalated into gunfire. Among the deceased were a husband, wife, and their 13-year-old daughter.
The victims were identified as 55-year-old Hafiz Saadullah, his 38-year-old wife Khatun (Gash Bibi), their 13-year-old daughter Ash Bibi, and 24-year-old Abu Bakr, another family member.
Two children, 14-year-old Osama and 10-year-old Tufail Idrees, were injured in the shooting.
The bodies and the injured were transported to Mufti Mahmood Hospital for medical treatment and further investigation. Police have not yet determined the cause of the enmity that led to the fatal altercation.
