PAF Chief Highlights Modernization Efforts to Bahraini Commander

Bahrain National Guard Commander Gen. Shaikh Mohammed Bin Isa Bin Salman Al Khalifa met with Pakistan Air Force PAF Chief Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu at Air Headquarters in Islamabad.

The two discussed enhancing bilateral military cooperation, focusing on training, technology sharing, and modernizing defense capabilities.

Sidhu outlined PAF’s modernization efforts, including smart acquisitions, infrastructure upgrades, and advanced training to address modern warfare challenges.

He emphasized the strong diplomatic and defense ties between the two nations.

The Bahraini commander praised PAF’s professionalism and progress, particularly in indigenization.

He expressed interest in PAF’s expertise in space, cyber, and electronic warfare, seeking collaboration to improve Bahrain’s operational readiness.

Bahrain also aims to procure equipment from Pakistan’s National Aerospace Science & Technology Park.

The visit concluded with a tour of PAF’s National ISR & Integrated Air Operations Center, showcasing operational capabilities.

Both sides vowed to strengthen ties in training, emerging technologies, and aviation industry cooperation.

A high-level Bahrain Air Force delegation is expected to follow up for formal negotiations.
