Bajaur students face numerous challenges in Afghanistan: ANP

Bajaur students in Afghanistan face numerous challenges, says ANP

BAJAUR: The Awami National Party (ANP) local leader and former candidate for NA-8 Bajaur, Maulana Khan Zeb, has said that students who have gone to Afghanistan for studies are facing significant difficulties.

While exclusively speaking to Pakhtun Digital, the ANP leader expressed his concerns about the Bajaur students studying in Afghanistan who had been facing numerous challenges due to crises in the neighboring country.

He said thousands of students of KP and around 200 students from the Bajaur district who have been studying at the Jalalabad University were facing serious difficulties.

Mr Khan Zeb highlighted that these students could not return to their homes due to the closure of Nawa Pass, Torkham, Ghulam Khan and other borders.

The ANP leader claimed that the students were not allowed to appear in the examinations in Afghanistan, which has put their educational future at risk.

“We, the political leaders, students and parents, demand the government of Pakistan to take immediate steps to resolve this sensitive issue as soon as possible to save the future of the Bajaur students from destruction,” He emphasised.
