17 districts in KP receive winter aid from King Salman Relief

KS Relief Completes Winter Aid Project in Pakistan, Assisting Over 337,000 People

ISLAMABAD: The King Salman Relief Center (KS Relief) has successfully concluded its large-scale winter relief project in Pakistan, providing critical support to communities grappling with severe cold and natural disasters.

In collaboration with Pakistan’s National Disaster Management Authority and Provincial Disaster Management Authorities, KS Relief distributed 50,000 winter kits across 52 districts, including the most affected and coldest regions of the country. The aid reached deserving families in 17 districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 10 districts of Gilgit-Baltistan, 11 districts of Balochistan, six districts of Jammu and Kashmir, six districts of Sindh, and two districts of Punjab.

Each winter kit contained two high-quality polyester blankets, warm shawl kits for men and women, and winter clothing for children and adults, ensuring families were equipped to withstand harsh winter conditions. The distribution was carried out transparently with the support of provincial governments and in partnership with the Hayat Foundation.

According to KS Relief, the project has benefited more than 337,079 people, reinforcing the center’s commitment to humanitarian aid and its mission to support vulnerable communities worldwide.
