EU Ambassador Dr. Riina Kionka met with Pakistan’s Finance Minister Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb on Friday to discuss strengthening business and investment ties.
Kionka highlighted over 300 European companies operating in Pakistan and invited Aurangzeb to an EU-hosted business forum in Islamabad in May 2025.
Aurangzeb welcomed the initiative, pledging support for EU businesses and ensuring timely repatriation of profits.
He praised the EU’s GSP Plus scheme, vital for Pakistan’s export growth.
