NUSHKI: An explosion occurred on National Highway N-40 in Nushki district, Balochistan, prompting a swift response from police officials who have reached the scene to determine the nature of the blast.
Authorities confirmed that the area has been cordoned off, while a bomb disposal team is working to ascertain the cause of the explosion.
According to the latest updates, the Pak-Iran Highway N-40 was attacked, with the explosion’s sound heard across a wide area. An emergency has been declared at the Teaching Hospital to handle potential casualties.
Earlier today, a separate explosion near a police mobile on Kirani Road in Quetta left six people injured, according to Provincial Government Spokesman Shahid Rind.
One policeman was martyred, while the injured are receiving immediate medical assistance. The Balochistan government confirmed that law enforcement agencies have secured the area, and an investigation is underway.
