Security forces destroy TTP militants’ hideouts in KP

 

PESHAWAR: Security forces on Sunday destroyed the banned Tehreek-I-Taliban (TTP) militants hideouts, located in the mountains of Lakki Marwat, Karak and Mianwali district of Punjab.

According to police officials, the terrorists were coming out of the camp and carrying out attacks in nearby areas.

Lakki Marwat police, led by DPO Jawad Ishaq, conducted a search and strike operation in the border area.

During the operation, the temporary hideouts of the banned TTP were destroyed with bombs, the terrorists fled from their hideouts.

Inspector General of Police Zulfiqar Hameed says that no leniency will be shown to those who provide temporary hideouts and facilities; the clearance operation will continue with the cooperation of the police and other law enforcement agencies until the last hideout of the terrorists is reached.
