A rift has been seen recently in the leadership of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, which was also caused removal of Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur from the post of President of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province, while Provincial Minister for Higher Education Meena Khan Afridi was also removed from the post of Central President of Insaf Youth Wing. However, both leaders had taken the stand that they had decided to resign from their party posts on the instructions of Imran Khan.
According to sources of PTI, PTI has been divided into several groups, Ali Amin group, Atif Khan group, Asad Qaisar and Shakeel Khan.
It also reflected in recent actions of the chief minister, Ali Amin Khan, who removed additional advocate general from the post for poor arguments in the case against Atif Khan.
