LOWER DIR: A double-seater vehicle fell into a ravine in Maidan Chinarkot of the Lower Dir, killing two people and injuring 12 others, including women and children.
Rescue 1122 teams responded quickly, reaching the accident site with ambulances and other rescue machinery. Rescuers provided first aid before shifting the injured to Lal Qila Hospital.
Doctors later referred the seriously injured to Timergara Hospital for further treatment.
The injured include Fahad (5), Shoaib (28), Zaid (8), Tariq (6), and Haris (10). Others included women. The deceased were inlucded 11-year-old Abu Harin and the wife of Sher Zaman.
The vehicle was travelling from Kambar Maidan to Taran village when the accident occurred.
