ISLAMABAD: US State Department’s Senior Assistant Secretary for South and Central Asian Affairs Eric Meyer will visit Pakistan next week.
According to sources within the State Department, the delegation will be in Islamabad from April 8 to 10 to participate in the Pakistan Minerals Investment Forum. The visit aims to advance U.S. strategic interests in the critical minerals sector and explore avenues to strengthen economic cooperation.
During his visit, Meyer is expected to hold meetings with senior Pakistani officials to promote opportunities for U.S. businesses and to further deepen bilateral economic engagement.
In addition to economic discussions, Meyer will also engage with Pakistani counterparts on enhancing counter-terrorism cooperation between the two countries.
