Peshawar Agriculture University employees protest over unpaid salaries

PESHAWAR: Hundreds of employees from the University of Agriculture Peshawar protested on Wednesday over unpaid salaries that have been overdue for several months.

The protesters said that the university is facing a severe financial crisis due to the wrong policies of the vice-chancellor.  The teachers and supporting staff of the university participated in the protest.

They said that were being paid for the last 10 months. The university does not have funds for payments. They say that the university continues to face persistent salary delays, inadequate infrastructure, and administrative inefficiencies, further exacerbating the situation.

They urged the university administration to clear their dues as soon as possible.
