WASHINGTON: Former President and senior leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Arif Alvi has supported the talks.
The former president, while giving an interview to CNN in the US, discussed the talks and the Balochistan issue.
He said that if there are talks related to the upcoming elections, we will welcome the talks.
He claimed that in the general elections on February 8 last year, PTI had won from Balochistan, but our votes were counted less, if this had not been done, our government would have been in power in other provinces including Balochistan.
The former president said that the voice of the youth of Balochistan is not being heard, so he is disappointed, the solution to the Balochistan issue is also in the talks.
He added that the protests in the country are being stopped by force, which is increasing disappointment among the people, there are also restrictions on the media in the country and it is not free.
