When will pink moon be visible in Pakistan?

Pink Moon

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan will witness the Pink Moon on Sunday at 9:08 p.m.

It will be the brightest and biggest full moon of the year.

The Pink Moon is the first full moon of spring. It will rise on Friday night, April 12, and will be visible across North America and much of the world.

Despite its name, the Pink Moon won’t appear pink.

The name comes from the herb moss pink, or creeping phlox. This wildflower blooms in early spring in North America.

According to Starwalk, the moon will be about 5.1% smaller than average. But this difference is hard to spot.

The best time to view it is just after sunset. That’s when it rises above the horizon.

The “moon illusion” makes it appear larger and brighter when it’s low in the sky. The full moon will look most dramatic during this phase.

The next full moon, called the Flower Moon, will appear on May 12, 2025.

This year will have 12 full moons. It includes three supermoons and two total lunar eclipses.

One of these eclipses will be visible in Karachi on the night of September 7–8.
