ISLAMABAD: Prices of petroleum products are also likely to see a huge decrease in Pakistan after the continuous decline in crude oil prices in the global market.
Crude oil prices in the international market are trending downward, due to which there is a possibility of a decrease in the per liter prices of petroleum products in Pakistan as well.
At a time when the government has already announced a reduction in the per unit price of electricity, the expected reduction in the prices of petroleum products will be a big relief for the public.
According to media reports, the prices of petrol and diesel are likely to decrease by up to Rs 12 per liter from April 16 this month.
