Pro-Army slogans raised outside Avenfield by overseas Pakistanis

LONDON: A large number of overseas Pakistanis gathered outside Avenfield House in London, where they raised slogans in support of the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) and the Pakistan Army on Saturday.

According to reports, the demonstration took place following the arrival of former Prime Minister and PML-N President Nawaz Sharif, who returned to London from Belarus.

In anticipation of possible unrest, a heavy police presence was deployed outside Avenfield to maintain order, particularly due to the expected presence of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) supporters.

According to reports, London police detained several PTI workers at the scene to prevent any provocative or disruptive actions.
