Shaukat Yousafzai Opposes Azam Swati’s Public Disclosure of Secret Talks

Senior Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Shaukat Yousafzai has said that Senator Azam Swati should not have made a public statement without consulting the party.

Speaking to a private TV channel, Yousafzai stated that while he respects Swati, discipline is important for everyone in the party. He suggested that Swati should have discussed his remarks with the party leadership before going to the media.

Yousafzai also questioned the benefits of Swati’s statement, noting that the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are politically aware and will assess the situation themselves.
