KARACHI: In a one-sided match, Lahore Qalandars defeated Karachi Kings by 65 runs in the sixth game of the Pakistan Super League (PSL). Batting first, Qalandars posted a strong total of 201/6, thanks to brilliant half-centuries from Fakhar Zaman (76) and Daryl Mitchell (75). Karachi Kings struggled from the start, collapsing to 136 all out in their chase.
After winning the toss, Lahore Qalandars chose to bat first. Despite a slow start, Fakhar Zaman and Daryl Mitchell accelerated the innings, guiding their team to a big total. Hasan Ali was the standout bowler for Karachi, taking four wickets.

Karachi Kings’ chase got off to a disastrous start as captain Shaheen Afridi dismissed David Warner and James Vince for ducks in the first over. Khushdil Shah (39) and Hasan Ali (27) tried to fight back, but the team was bowled out for 136. Shaheen and Rashid Hussain took three wickets each.
Fakhar Zaman and Daryl Mitchell’s partnership was the highlight for Lahore, while Shaheen Afridi’s fiery opening spell destroyed Karachi’s top order. Hasan Ali’s four-wicket haul was the only positive for the Kings.
