PPP’s Saba Talpur wins NA-213 Umerkot by-election

Saba Talpur Wins Umerkot Seat with Over 164,000 Votes

The by-election for the NA-213 Umerkot constituency has concluded, with Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) candidate Saba Talpur emerging as the winner. According to unofficial results, Talpur secured 164,788 votes, defeating her closest rival, opposition joint candidate Lal Chand Malhi, who received 81,247 votes.

A total of 18 candidates contested the election, which saw a peaceful voting process under tight security. Around 4,200 police officers and personnel were deployed, with Rangers also present to ensure law and order.

Following the victory announcement, PPP workers celebrated at Saba Talpur’s camp office in Kunri. All 498 polling stations in the constituency have officially declared their results.
