JUI-F wants clarity before any alliance with PTI

ISLAMABAD: Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) spokesperson Aslam Ghauri has stated that his party will maintain communication with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) despite ongoing confusion within the opposition ranks.

Speaking to a private news channel Ghauri said consultations on national and parliamentary matters would continue. However, he expressed concerns over PTI’s inconsistent statements, making it difficult to determine who to negotiate with.

“PTI leaders issue new statements daily—Barrister Gohar says one thing, Salman Akram Raja another. We want PTI to resolve its internal issues,” Ghauri said. He added that JUI-F supports opposition unity but criticized PTI’s conflicting positions for damaging joint efforts.

Maulana Fazlur Rehman, JUI-F chief, has previously emphasized the need for dialogue on common issues. Ghauri reiterated that any future alliances would require mutual trust and transparency.
