A special session was held in the Bara area of Khyber District, organized by the North Frontier Corps, where Lieutenant General Omar Ahmad Bukhari, Corps Commander Peshawar, engaged with tribal elders and youth.
Major General Anjum Riaz, IG FC North, along with the Deputy Commissioner of Bara and the DPO of Khyber District, also attended the gathering.
A large number of tribal elders and youth from various areas of Khyber District participated in the session, where they praised the role of the Pakistan Army and security agencies in maintaining peace and security in the region.
The tribal elders emphasized that the local population stands shoulder to shoulder with the Pakistan Army in establishing peace. The Corps Commander paid tribute to the tribal people, noting that the entire nation salutes their sacrifices.
Lieutenant General Omar Ahmad Bukhari reassured that efforts for peace and development in tribal districts would continue. During the session, tribal elders and youth presented suggestions for peace and development initiatives.
Participants agreed that such meetings enhance coordination between tribal communities and security institutions.
