Polio Resurgence: Pakistan Reports 8th Case of 2024 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
A new polio case has been confirmed in Bannu district, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), raising Pakistan’s total infections this year to eight, the National Institute of Health (NIH) announced. This marks KP’s third polio case in 2024, underscoring persistent challenges in eradicating the virus.
