Islamabad: Former caretaker Prime Minister Anwarul Haq Kakar has accused India of attempting to undermine the Indus Waters Treaty through what he called the “Pahalgam false flag operation.” He warned that India’s threat to stop water flow is an attack on Pakistan’s survival.
Speaking at a press conference in Islamabad, Kakar stated that India’s actions could escalate tensions between the two nuclear-armed neighbors. He urged Pakistanis to unite, set aside differences, and prepare for any situation.
“India’s intentions are hostile,” Kakar said, adding that the risk of war is growing. He emphasized the need for national unity, saying Pakistan must respond under one flag.
