Kashmiris in Pahalgam express love for Pakistan, two-nation theory remains alive

SRINAGAR: A recent incident in Pahalgam, Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), has reaffirmed the strong emotional and ideological bond between Kashmiri Muslims and Pakistan.

During a public gathering, a Kashmiri woman openly expressed her unwavering support for Pakistan, emphasising that Kashmiris’ hearts beat for the country, much like India does for its people.

Expressing her unwavering love for Pakistan, the woman openly declared, “It is true, we Kashmiris are with Pakistan,” further adding, “Pakistanis are our Muslim brothers.” Her statement strongly reflected the deep religious and emotional bond shared with Pakistan.

An Indian Hindu present at the gathering remarked that this exchange is a “battle of ideologies,” underscoring that Kashmiris’ ideological and emotional connection to Pakistan remains resolute, a fact that cannot be dismissed.

Religious scholars have pointed out that the woman’s assertive statement reaffirms the truth of the two-nation theory, the same ideology that laid the foundation for the distinct identity and independence of Muslims in the Indian subcontinent.

This event stands as further proof that the Kashmiri people continue to reject India’s forced occupation and maintain their ideological and religious ties with Pakistan.
