Viral fake letter exposes Modi government’s social media campaign targeting Pakistan

A viral fake letter claiming mass resignations in the Pakistan Army has exposed a coordinated social media campaign by the Modi government targeting Pakistan, following the Pahalgam false flag operation.

According to reports, Indian social media handlers (Indian intelligence agencies) circulated a fabricated letter that falsely claimed a large number of Pakistan Army officers and soldiers had resigned after the Pahalgam incident.

The letter, posing as an official document issued by Lieutenant General Omer Ahmed Bokhari, Commander of the XI Corps in Peshawar, was quickly dismissed by Pakistan Army sources as completely fake and poorly constructed.

Defence experts also ridiculed the document, describing it as amateurish and inconsistent with official military communication.

The fabricated letter has been widely shared on social media platforms, especially on X (formerly Twitter), in what appears to be an attempt to distract from the Modi government’s controversial actions in Kashmir.
