Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Governor Faisal Karim Kundi emphasized the need to maximize the benefits of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) for the province. Speaking to the media, he highlighted that the first phase of CPEC included the construction of the Hakla-Dera Ismail Khan Road, and the provincial government will collaborate with the federal government to ensure further advantages from the project.
Governor Kundi also addressed security concerns, stating that KP has made significant sacrifices in the fight against terrorism. He pointed out that weapons left in Afghanistan are being used against Pakistan and expressed hope that Afghanistan would take action to eliminate terrorists from its soil.

In a separate meeting, Commandant Frontier Constabulary Muhammad Riaz Nazir met with Governor Kundi at the Governor House. They discussed the role of the Frontier Constabulary in maintaining peace and order in the province. Kundi praised the force for its commendable services, calling it an excellent professional organization with an exemplary role in improving law and order.
