After several days of steady increases, gold prices in both international and local markets saw a decline on Friday. In the global bullion market, gold fell by 19 to 3,031 per ounce.
This drop in international prices also impacted local markets, where gold per tola decreased by Rs2,000 to Rs318,800. Similarly, the price of ten grams of gold fell by Rs1,712 to Rs273,319.
The decline comes just a day after gold per tola reached a historic high of Rs320,800 on Thursday, marking the first time the price had crossed that threshold in the country’s history

. Meanwhile, silver prices also experienced a drop, with silver per tola falling by Rs49 to Rs3,475
