PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government has decided to digitise all public services for online delivery. Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has directed officials to compile a Digital Public Services Catalogue to streamline government services.
Currently, the catalogue includes 106 public services from 26 departments. The government plans to expand it further, covering all services across the province.
The Chief Minister’s Secretariat has sent letters to all administrative secretaries, instructing them to submit their department’s data for inclusion.
At present, only 29.55% of public services are digitised. The government aims to complete the process under the Chief Minister’s Good Governance Policy. The letter emphasised that without digitisation, public service delivery remains complex, leading to delays and inefficiency.
The new Digital Public Services Catalogue will act as a centralised platform for all government services. Citizens will be able to access essential facilities online from home, eliminating bureaucratic hurdles. The initiative aims to improve efficiency, accessibility, and public convenience.
In the next phase, the catalogue will be linked with the Dastak platform.
