Ambassador of Korean Republic visits Peshawar Chamber of Small Traders

PESHAWAR: The Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Pakistan, Park Ki-jun, visited the Peshawar Chamber of Small Traders and discussed bilateral economic and trade issues.

Group Leader Malik Mehr Elahi, President Shakeel Ahmed Khan Saraf, Senior Vice President Haji Tala Muhammad, Former President Malik Salman Elahi welcomed him on his arrival at the chamber.

 

A large number of executive members and the business community of Peshawar were also present on the occasion. Malik Mehr Elahi and Shakeel Ahmed Saraf said that it is imperative to strengthen ties between the Korean Chambers of Commerce. By sharing and researching trade-related information, we can better understand each other’s markets and identify areas of mutual interest. The two countries can jointly enhance bilateral cooperation in various fields for development and prosperity.

 

On this occasion, the Korean Ambassador was informed about the difficulties in obtaining a visa. Park Ki-jun assured the business community that they would play their role in removing the obstacles in issuing trade visas between Pakistan and Korea so that trade and economic relations between the two countries could be further developed.

 

The participation of the Peshawar Chamber in the expo held in Korea would be ensured. He said that there are vast opportunities in the agricultural sector which Pakistanis should take advantage of. Steps will also be taken to provide scholarship opportunities to Pakistani students in other fields, including medicine.

 

The officials of the Peshawar Chamber and the Burmese community thanked him for his visit and presented them a Shield.
