ANP denies ‘contacts’ with Pervez Khattak, calls baseless

CHARSADDA: Awami National Party (ANP) has denied the reports of Pervez Khattak’s contacts and joining the Awami National Party, calling them baseless.
The Wali Bagh spokesperson, Aamir Alam Khan clarified that no direct contact was made with Wali Bagh or Aimal Wali Khan regarding any joining.
He said that the ANP has a well-organized organizational structure, and all matters of joining the party are decided under organizational procedures.
According to Aamir Alam Khan, all decisions and political contacts of the ANP are made through organizational platforms, and some people are trying unsuccessfully to use the name of Wali Bagh for political point scoring.
He added that no matter how big a personality’s stature is, the decision on their joining will be taken by the relevant organizational forum. Wali Bagh has a 100-year history and strongly condemns baseless propaganda.
