Rs10 million grant approved in honour of Shaheed Maulana Khanzeb

The Awami National Party (ANP) on Monday submitted an attention notice in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa assembly over its leader Maulana Khanzeb, who was brutally killed in the Bajaur district the other day.

Member of the provincial assembly from ANP, Arbab Usman, submitted the attention notice in the provincial assembly regarding the murder of Maulana Khanzeb.

The notice highlighted that on July 10, 2025, Awami National Party leader and peace advocate Maulana Khanzeb was brutally murdered in broad daylight at Shindagi Mor in Bajaur. A CCTV camera system was reportedly removed from a petrol pump near the scene of the incident, during which Maulana Khanzeb was targeted and killed.

It said the incident not only signifies the sacrifice of a patriot and peace advocate, but it also raises serious questions about the performance of the current government.

“A prompt, transparent, and impartial inquiry into this incident is essential, and the culprits must be brought to justice to prevent such tragic occurrences in the future,” the notice reads.
