PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa former Chief Minister and Awami National Party leader, Haider Khan Hoti has said Maulana Hamidul Haq’s martyrdom has created a huge void in the Islamic world, and the attacker does not belong to any religion”.
The ANP leader and former Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Amir Haider Khan Hoti on Sunday visited the bereaved family of Maulan Hamid-ul-Haq Haqani and offered his condolences.
He strongly condemned the terrorist attack on Darul Uloom Haqqania Akora Khattak and said the martyrdom of Maulana Hamidul Haq is an irreparable loss for the Islamic world. He termed the attack as an attempt to spread hatred among Muslims and said that the attacker cannot belong to any religion.
Amir Haider Khan Hoti visited Darul Uloom Haqqania Akora Khattak and offered his condolences to the family of Maulana Hamidul Haq. On this occasion, he said that the void created by the martyrdom of Maulana Hamidul Haq cannot be filled for centuries. Condemning the terrorist attack, he said that this attack is a tragedy not only for Pakistan but also for the entire Muslim Ummah.
The former chief minister stressed that the message of peace, love and brotherhood that Maulana Hamidul Haq had in his life would always be remembered. He said that the attack should be investigated and those involved in it should be brought to justice so that such incidents can be prevented in the future.
Expressing his solidarity with the family of Maulana Hamidul Haq and the students of Darul Uloom, Ameer Haider Khan Hoti said that he is with them in this difficult time and their efforts will continue to prevent such attacks.
