PESHAWAR: The Awami National Party (ANP) has announced to convene an all-party conference on April 23 regarding the Mines and Minerals Amendment Bill.
The conference will be held at Bacha Khan Markaz Peshawar in which political parties, representative organisations, chambers, associations and the business community at the provincial level will be invited.
According to a statement issued by the party spokesperson, the meeting held under the chairmanship of Provincial President Mian Iftikhar Hussain at Bacha Khan Markaz Peshawar fully endorsed the decisions of the central leaders regarding the Pakhtunkhwa Mines and Minerals Act and a future course of action was decided against it.
On this occasion, various administrative committees were also formed in connection with the preparations for the all-party conference. A committee for relations with political parties was formed under the leadership of Mian Iftikhar Hussain, which includes Syed Aqil Shah, Hussain Shah Yousafzai, Salahuddin Khan, Arsalan Khan Nazim and Hamid Toofan. Another committee has been formed under the leadership of Matiullah Marwat for relations with chambers, associations and the business community.
