PESHAWAR: Arbab Khizr Hayat, the Additional Information Secretary of PML-N in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa KP, met with Afghanistan’s Consul General Hafiz Mohibullah in Peshawar.
They talked about the ongoing tensions at the Torkham border between Pakistan and Afghanistan.

The Afghan diplomat said both countries want peace, which will reduce tensions and help fight poverty. He added that peace could help both nations grow and improve their relationship.
Arbab Khizr Hayat agreed, saying peace would strengthen ties between the people of both countries and boost trade, benefiting their economies.
He stressed that restoring peace at the Torkham border is essential for increasing trade and opening new opportunities for development in the region.
The Afghan Consul General also emphasized the need for both governments to work together for peace and progress.
