Pakistani javelin thrower and Olympic medalist Arshad Nadeem has secured a gold medal at the Asian Athletics Championship 2025 with an outstanding performance. Nadeem dedicated this significant victory to the Pakistani Armed Forces.
Speaking to the media after his win, Nadeem stated, “I dedicate this medal to the Pakistani Armed Forces. This was possible with the prayers of the nation and my family. Whatever happens, gold is gold.”
Looking ahead, Nadeem revealed plans to travel to England after Eid-ul-Adha to compete in the World Athletics Championship. He vowed, “My next plan will be on the instructions of the coach, and I will try my best to return home after winning.”
Nadeem also expressed gratitude to the Punjab government, mentioning that a sports stadium is currently under construction in his home village. He encouraged the youth, saying, “I want to send a message to the youth to come, take advantage of this stadium and learn from me.”
