August 05 to bring major surprise for Government, Says KP Information Advisor

KP urges national unity to combat rising terrorism

PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Information Advisor Barrister Dr. Saif has said that August 05 will be a “big surprise” for the government as Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is busy, while making full preparations for this day.

In his statement, Barrister Saif said that on the special directives of Imran Khan, workers are active not only in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa but also throughout the country. He said that Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Ali Amin Gandapur, is himself supervising the preparations and arrangements so that an effective political response can be given to the government on August 05.

Barrister Saif sarcastically said that “the government is trembling after looking into the preparations for the August 05 rally. According to him, PTI will come into the field with full preparation this time, and if the government tries “tactics” like November 26, they will be given a befitting reply.

The provincial information advisor emphasized that peaceful protest is a constitutional, legal, and democratic right of every citizen, which no government can take away. He said that PTI will resist legally and politically against all kinds of unconstitutional measures.

Barrister Saif’s statement suggests that a major political move is expected on August 5, which has not only created concern in government circles but has also heated the overall political atmosphere of the country.

Experts are saying that if the PTI workers succeed in their entry to Islamabad, it would be a turning point in the political strategy of the PTI, which is facing immense pressure after the May 09 violent incidents.
