Azma Bukhari ctiticises KP govt for neglecting security crisis

Punjab Information Minister Azma Bukhari has emphasized the need for national unity to address the growing threat of terrorism in Pakistan. Speaking to the media outside the Punjab Assembly, she criticized Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) for focusing on saving an individual rather than the country. She also accused the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government of neglecting its responsibilities by sending delegations to Afghanistan while terrorism continues to plague the region.

Bukhari stressed that unity is essential to confront terrorism and other challenges facing the nation. She expressed disappointment that certain factions within PTI have refused to condemn attacks on the military, making national unity difficult to achieve. The minister called for the renewal of the National Action Plan (NAP) to effectively eliminate terrorism and ensure the country’s security.
