Bajaur launches crackdown on non-custom paid vehicles

KHAR: District administration has launched a strict crackdown on all vehicles, particularly Non-Custom Paid (NCP) vehicles in Bajaur district amid prevailing security situation in the area, on Saturday.

Police officials confirmed that the vehicle profiling has been declared mandatory across the district.

Police official warned that those vehicle owners who fail to complete the profiling process on time will face legal action. Citizens have been strongly urged to visit the Excise Department office located in Civil Colony, Khar, and get their vehicles profiled immediately to avoid future complications.

According to a spokesperson of police, profiling of undocumented vehicles is not only a legal requirement but also a critical measure to ensure public safety and security. The step aims to curb the use of unregistered vehicles in illegal or suspicious activities.
