BAJAUR: In a major operation against drug trafficking, Bajaur Police arrested notorious ice dealer Nigar, son of Bahramand, from Khar. The arrest was made during a blockade operation led by DSP Bakht Munir and SHO Abdul Razaq of Salarzai Police Station. The accused was caught red-handed with a stash of crystal meth (“ice”) and booked under the Narcotics Act.
In a separate operation, police apprehended three wanted criminals involved in murder, attempted murder, and other serious crimes. The suspects were arrested from Dir district in a coordinated effort between Salarzai and Dir police.
District Police Officer (DPO) Waqas Rafique has ordered a strict crackdown on fugitives across Bajaur, directing officers to expedite arrests and ensure justice for affected families.
