QUETTA: Baloch activist Marang Baloch arrested was arrested during a protest demonstration in Quetta.
Marang Baloch, the leader of Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC), was leading a protest sit-in Saryab Road in Quetta demanding the release of activists and the return of dead bodies BLA members killed in the Jaffer Express attack operation when police took her into custody.
Social media activists reacted to her arrest. In a post on X, Defence Pakistan handle tweeted “Marang Baloch, a known BLA sympathizer, is routinely tasked with spinning terrorist attacks into false narratives of oppression. The state has been far too lenient with her, it’s time she faced the conse.quences behind bars.”

Another social media activist said that prominent Baloch leader Dr. Mahrang Baloch who was also nominated for noble peace prize was illegally abducted.
