Bangladesh ends visa requirement for Pakistani officials

Govt Blocks Passports of 53,000 Pakistanis Over Illegal Emigration

In a significant move to boost diplomatic ties, Bangladesh has officially abolished the need for visas for Pakistani officials holding diplomatic or official passports.

The decision was approved by the interim government of Bangladesh, led by Nobel Laureate Dr. Muhammad Yunus. The new policy establishes a mutual agreement, meaning the same visa-free travel will be granted to Bangladeshi officials visiting Pakistan.

According to Press Secretary Shafiqul Islam, the agreement will be valid for the next five years.

Diplomatic sources suggest this step is a positive development that is expected to improve relations between the two countries and make official-level communication and visits much easier.
