BANNU: Youth Affairs department and the District Administration host a magnificent painting competition in Bannu, and the artworks of the female students were warmly received on the eve of Independence Day celebrations.
A magnificent “Marka-e-Haq – Jashn-e-Azadi Painting Competition” was organised in Bannu in collaboration with the Youth Affairs Department and the District Administration. This painting competition was organised by the Youth Affairs Department and the District Administration on the occasion of Independence Day to highlight the creative talents of the young generation and promote the spirit of patriotism in them.
At least 14 to 15 talented female students participated in the competition, who beautifully expressed their creative talents through colours on topics like independence, patriotism, national unity and the history of Pakistan. These artworks were highly appreciated by the distinguished guests and attendees who came to the event.
Deputy Commissioner Bannu Muhammad Fahim Khan was the special guest of the event, while Zahidullah, an officer of the Youth Affairs Department, Assistant Commissioner and Sub-Division Sports Officer Rizwanullah Khan also participated. He highly appreciated the creations of the students and paid tribute to their patriotic spirit.
The students who performed outstandingly in the competition were also awarded special cash prizes. Student who secured the first position received Rs. 15,000. The student who secured the second position received Rs. 10,000, while the student who secured the third position received Rs. 5,000 in cash.
At the closing ceremony, the students thanked the Youth Affairs Department and the district administration for organising this beautiful event and said that such activities not only enhance their art but also make them aware of the importance of national history, national heroes and freedom.
