Rescue 1122 Leads Overnight Operations Following Tragic Explosions in Bannu

Bannu: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Rescue 1122 department has successfully concluded a rescue operation following twin blasts that shook the southern Bannu districts on Tuesday evening.

The announcement was made by the spokesperson of Bannu Rescue 1122 in an official statement.

According to the statement, all individuals trapped under the rubble, including women and children, have been safely evacuated and transported to the hospital.

The report revealed that over 41 people were rescued, with 31 sustaining injuries and 11 tragically losing their lives.

 

 

The operation was spearheaded by District Emergency Officer Bakhtullah Wazir, in collaboration with Karak’s District Emergency Officer, Atif Sardar.

Rescue teams from neighboring districts, including Karak and Lakki Marwat, also participated in the efforts.

The statement praised the teams for their relentless work and prompt response during the crisis.
