ISLAMABAD: Chairman Tehreek-e-Insaf, Barrister Gohar, said that the protest call of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Pakistan was successful and almost in every district of the country, people came out to express solidarity with PTI founding chairman Imran Khan.
Terming the August 05 protest rally an effective strategy, Barrister Gohar said that there is no compromise in the book of PTI workers and they have immense love with their leader and for him, they could put their lives in danger.
He said that 50,50 FIRs have been registered against PTI workers, but they are not fearful of these FIRs and they are continuously raising their voices for the cause of the country and their incarcerated leader. Movement. He said that in every district, people protested, raised their voices, and expressed solidarity.
He said that everywhere MNAs and MPs were assigned duties in various constituencies, including Swabi, Malakand, and they fulfilled their responsibility to take to the streets. He said that PTI leaders were offered huge money, cars and chairmanship of various standing committees, but the party leadership rejected these offers.
He said that PTI workers sacrificed their businesses and gave their valuable time to the party, and despite pressure, they set aside Section 144 and took out rallies. He said that most of the PTI workers are living poor and in rented houses.
He said that PTI would fully participate in the by-elections and would request Imran Khan to participate in the by-elections.
