PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government KP has implemented a series of measures to enhance employment opportunities and stimulate economic growth, with Chief Minister Ali Ameen Gandapur leading the initiative, officials said.

In an exclusive interview with Pakhtun Digital, Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif, the provincial information advisor, highlighted the government’s efforts to improve the economy and create jobs. He emphasized that the steps taken under the chief minister’s guidance have set a new benchmark for economic development in the region.

“The economic stability measures we’ve taken are yielding tangible results,” Saif said. “Our resources have significantly improved, and the macroeconomic situation is showing clear signs of progress.”

The government has also focused on youth development, announcing various training programs and scholarships aimed at equipping young people with skills to secure employment. Additionally, initiatives to support local businesses have been introduced, including streamlined processes for starting new ventures and providing financial assistance.

For the underprivileged, the government is working on welfare projects, including an insurance scheme, to ensure economic security for all residents. Saif noted that these efforts have already accelerated the pace of economic development in the province.

“These measures will serve as the foundation for the province’s long-term growth, and their impact will be felt across the region,” he added.
