Bilawal Bhutto to lead Pakistan’s peace delegation at global level

ISLAMABAD:Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari announced on Saturday that he has accepted Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s request to lead a delegation advocating for Pakistan’s stance on peace at the international level.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Bilawal stated, “Today, the Prime Minister contacted me and asked me to chair the delegation that will present Pakistan’s case for peace globally. I am proud to accept this responsibility and remain committed to serving Pakistan in these challenging times. Long live Pakistan.”

However, the government has not yet issued an official notification confirming the delegation’s formation, and the names of other members remain undisclosed.

The development comes after heightened tensions between Pakistan and India, following which New Delhi reportedly decided to send a delegation of Indian parliamentarians to various countries to present its position.
