UNITED NATIONS: A nine-member high-level parliamentary delegation, led by former Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, is set to visit New York from Monday to Tuesday to present Pakistan’s stance on the recent military clash with India and to counter New Delhi’s disinformation narrative surrounding the conflict.
During the two-day visit, the delegation will hold key meetings with top UN officials, including UN Secretary-General António Guterres and the President of the UN General Assembly. They are also scheduled to engage with ambassadors from both permanent and non-permanent member states of the UN Security Council.
Additionally, the delegation will brief members of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) at the United Nations. The visit will conclude with a media interaction led by Bilawal Bhutto Zardari alongside other delegation members.
