BANNU: The Bannu Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) has postponed the scheduled secondary school certificate (SSC) examinations in North Waziristan for an indefinite period without citing any reason.
The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Bannu issued a notification in this regard here on Monday, announcing the postponement of already scheduled SSC examinations.
The BISE Bannu had scheduled the metric examinations, commencing on April 8; however, due to unknown issues, the BISE authorities decided to postpone the examinations.
The Board also mentioned in the notification that a new date for the examinations would be announced very soon.
Meanwhile, the North Waziristan (Miranshah) Teachers Association protested outside the Miranshah Press Club and said that those who snatch the pen from the children of the nation were snatching the future from their generations.
They said that they would never accept these injustices, which puts the future of their children in danger.
